General Description
Our versatile Foothill Farms® Strawberry Mousse Mix creates a light and decadent dessert at the same time. Simply add the mix to a measured amount of cold water (or cold milk). After whipping, the finished product will have a rich, airy appearance, and a delicious strawberry flavor to match. Great alternative to ice cream, icing or custard. Place in piping bag and use as a topping on a cake or fruit, or stand on its own as a dessert. Perfect filling for building miniature desserts.
Ingredients
Corn Syrup Solids, Sugar, Stabilizer Blend (Palm Kernel Oil, Corn Syrup Solids, Propylene Glycol Monostearate, Sugar, Sodium Caseinate, Acetylated Monoglycerides, Mono & Diglycerides, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose), Modified Food Starch, Contains Less Than 2% Of Each Of The Following: Natural & Artificial Flavor, Sodium Alginate Blend (Sodium Alginate, Dextrin, Sucrose, Sodium Phosphate), Sodium Phosphate, Calcium Gluconate, Color (Red 40, Blue 1).
Directions For Use
Add 10 lbs of Mousse Mix to 2 gal plus 2 cups (272 fl oz) ice cold water in a chilled bowl. Whip on low speed for 1 minute or until product is completely dissolved and uniform in appearance. Scrape sides of mixing bowl. Whip on high speed for 3 to 5 minutes. Chill for 1 to 3 hours before serving. Cover and refrigerate to keep top from drying out.
For Small Batch: Use 5 lbs Mousse Mix to 1 gal plus 1 cup (136 fl oz) ice cold water or 1 cup (loosely filled) Mousse Mix to 1 cup (8 fl oz) ice cold water and mix as shown above.
