General Description
A delicious standard that stands with center-of-plate items, Foothill Farms® Country Gravy with Pepper Mix is a creamy white flour-based, cook-up gravy with a rich dairy flavor and bits of cracked black pepper. Preparation is an easy two-step, stove-top method. Perfect over breakfast favorites, as a savory topping for chicken-fried steak and mash potatoes, and as a dipping sauce for chicken strips. Also a great base for soups, chowders and sauces.
Ingredients
Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Coconut Oil, Corn Starch, Whey, Corn Syrup Solids, Salt, Contains 2% or Less Of: Sodium Caseinate, Sodium & Potassium Phosphate, Wheat Gluten, Sugar, Spice, Mono & Diglycerides, Disodium Inosinate, Soy Lecithin.
Directions For Use
Pour 3 qts (96 fl oz) water into a large stock pot. Bring to a boil (212°F). In a separate container, add contents of pouch (24 oz) to 1 qt (32 fl oz) cool tap water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved. Carefully pour water/gravy mixture into boiling water and blend with wire whisk. Bring back to a boil (212°F). Reduce heat and simmer (gentle boil) for one minute, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
