Sautéed spinach with a decadent tasting cream sauce. The perfect dish for a steakhouse-style or regional BBQ side.
|1/2 c||Minced onion|
|2 oz||Olive oil|
|1 lb||Fresh spinach, cleaned|
|1/4 c||Pernod liquor|
|7 oz||Foothill Farms® Classic Alfredo Sauce Creamy Parmesan Instant Mix, prepared according to package directions|
|1/4 c||Shredded parmesan cheese|
In a large saute pan, saute onions in olive oil until translucent.
Add spinach to saute pan, cover, and cook for 30 seconds to wilt 75%.
Deglaze pan with pernod, combining ingredients.
Add Savory Roasted Garlic Alfredo Sauce and mix to evenly coat spinach.
Remove from heat and garnish with Parmesan Cheese.
