Breakfast Bake

This hearty breakfast combines all of your favorites - hash browns, cheese, and sausage. Substitute the sausage with bacon or ham and add eggs for different variations.

1  bag Foothill Farms® Monterey Jack Flavor Cheese Sauce Instant Mix (106T)
1/2  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  lb Sausage
1  cup Onions
2  lbs Hash browns
8  oz Hash browns
1/4  cup Olive oil
  1. Spray a full pan with Baker's Joy pan spray.

  2. Pour hot water into mixing bowl or container. Pour contents of pouch (15.5 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk or with a mixer on low speed. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and cheese sauce is smooth.

  3. Saute the sausage and onions.

  4. Pour the cheese sauce into a large bowl. Add the hash browns, sausage and onions and stir until combined. Pour into a well greased half pan.

  5. Combine 8 oz hash browns and oil and mix until evenly coated. Sprinkle on top of the half pan.

  6. Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180°F.
