Combine leftover rice and broccoli with creamy cheese sauce for a delicious dish. Offer this unique side that can also be an entrée when topped with grilled chicken.
|1 gal||Hot water (180º-190°F)|
|1 bag||Foothill Farms® Special Blend Cheese Sauce Instant Mix (#7272)|
|6 lb||Broccoli florets, steamed and drained|
|12 c||Cooked rice|
Pour hot water into a large mixing bowl. Pour contents cheese sauce mix into water while vigorously stirring with wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and cheese sauce is smooth. Let stand 3 minutes then stir again.
Add broccoli and rice to cheese sauce. Stir gently until well combined.
Pour mixture in 2" deep full size steam pan. Place in 350°F convection oven 15 - 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
