Chicken Stuffing Bowl

1 Serving provides 2 oz M/MA, 1.5 oz G, and 0.125 Vegetable

1 1/2  cup Foothill Farms Whole Grain Stuffing (#T530)
6 1/2  cups Hot water (180°-190°F)
8  oz Butter, 1 stick
3  oz Chicken, diced, cooked
1/4  cup Foothill Farms Chicken Gravy Mix (#G406)
1  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
2/15  cup Celery, raw
Instructions
  1. Prepare diced chicken as per package instruction.

  2. Stuffing Prep: Carefully pour 6 ½ cups of hot water (180°–190°F) into a mixing bowl or 2” half pan. Add contents of one seasoning pouch (3.5 oz). [OPTIONAL: Add one stick (8 oz) of butter/margarine. Stir until butter/margarine is melted.] Add bread crumbs (24.5 oz). Mix until all the water is absorbed and stuffing mix is well blended.

  3. Gravy Prep: Pour 1 gallon hot water (180°-190°F) into mixing bowl or container. Pour mix into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk or with a mixer on low speed. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and gravy is smooth.

  4. To serve in a 12 oz bowl: Layer 1/2 cup prepared Whole Grain Stuffing, 3 oz prepared diced chicken, 1/8 cup chopped celery, and top with 1/4 cup prepared chicken gravy.
