Country Potato Soup

A hearty potato soup with mushrooms and bacon.

1  bag Foothill Farms® Country White Gravy With Pepper Instant Mix (086T)
1 1/2  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  #10 can Potatoes
4  cups Onions, chopped
8  Tbsp Chives, chopped
2  cups Bacon, cooked & chopped
4  cups Mushrooms, sauteed
2  Tbsp Butter
  1. Pour 1.5 gallon hot water (180°-190°F) into stockpot over low heat. Pour contents of pouch (25.0 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk or with a mixer on low speed. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and gravy is smooth. Never boil.

  2. Add in potatoes, onions, chives, cooked bacon, sauteed mushrooms and butter. Keep warm.
