A hearty potato soup with mushrooms and bacon.
|1 bag||Foothill Farms® Country White Gravy With Pepper Instant Mix|
|1 1/2 gal||Hot water (180°-190°F)|
|1 #10 can||Potatoes|
|4 cups||Onions, chopped|
|8 Tbsp||Chives, chopped|
|2 cups||Bacon, cooked & chopped|
|4 cups||Mushrooms, sauteed|
Pour 1.5 gallon hot water (180°-190°F) into stockpot over low heat. Pour contents of pouch (25.0 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk or with a mixer on low speed. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and gravy is smooth. Never boil.
Add in potatoes, onions, chives, cooked bacon, sauteed mushrooms and butter. Keep warm.
