Crab Dip

This delicious, creamy crab dip is the perfect appetizer.

Recipe Yield: 29 1-cup servings

1/2  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  bag Foothill Farms® Cheese Sauce Instant Mix (#094T)
4 1/2  cups Mayonnaise
5  Tbsp Tabasco® pepper hot sauce
5  Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4 1/2  lb Lump crabmeat
2 1/4  cups Finely diced green onions
  Shredded cheddar or parmesan cheese
  1. In a mixing container pour in hot water. Add Cheese Sauce Mix (15 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is dissolved and sauce is smooth.

  2. Add mayonnaise, hot sauce and worcestershire sauce . Stir until blended.

  3. Add in crab and onions. Stir until blended. Reserve warm.

  4. For service, portion out serving. Top with shredded cheddar or parmesan cheese and place under broiler until cheese is bubbling and browned. Serve with chips.
