Fish Chowder

Creamy white fish chowder loaded with vegetables and a dash of lemon, served with crusty bread for dipping

Ingredients

1/2  c Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend
1 1/2  c Clam Juice
1 1/2  c Water
4  large Onions, diced
1 1/2  c Celery, diced
3  lb Firm White Fish, cut into 2-inch pieces
6   Bay Leaves
9  c 1% Milk
7  c Frozen Mixed Vegetables
1/2  c Cornstarch
4  large Lemons, cut in 6 slices each
3/4  c Parsley, chopped
Instructions
  1. Combine Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend, clam juice, water, onion, celery, fish, and bay leaves in a heavy large saucepan.

  2. Cover and cook over medium heat until fish is opaque, about 15 minutes.

  3. Add milk and frozen vegetables.

  4. Cover and heat over medium high heat until mixture boils, about 10 minutes.

  5. Dissolve cornstarch in 3/4 cup water and stir into milk mixture; cook over medium-high heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.

  6. Discard bay leaves.

  7. Serve garnished with lemon and chopped parsley.
