Loaded Onion Rings with Carolina Cheese Sauce

Hot home-style onion rings covered in a savory melty cheddar cheese sauce, shredded pork and grilled okra.

Recipe Yield: 80 1/4-cup servings of sauce
Loaded Onion Rings with Carolina Cheese Sauce
Ingredients

1  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  bag Foothill Farms® Cheese Sauce Mix #088T (2 bags #094T or #081T)
2 1/4  c Carolina-style BBQ sauce
15  lb Frozen onion rings
5  lb Shredded pulled pork, fully-cooked
5  lb Sliced grilled okra
Instructions
  1. In a mixing container pour in hot water. Add contents of Cheese Sauce Mix into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is dissolved and sauce is smooth.

  2. Add BBQ sauce to cheese sauce. Whisk to combine. Reserve hot (never boil).

  3. For order: Cook 3 oz of onion rings. Allow to drain in fry basket.

  4. Place onion rings in serving container. Top with 2 oz hot Carolina cheese sauce. Top with 1 oz pork and 1 oz okra.
