An Italian vegetable soup made with pasta using our Traditional Tomato Sauce.

Recipe Yield:

1  bag Foothill Farms Traditional Tomato Sauce Mix (#089T)
3  qts Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  cup Diced onion
1  cup Diced celery
1  cup Diced carrots
1  cup Frozen green beans, thawed
1  cup Canned kidney beans, drained
1  cup Canned diced tomatoes, undrained
2  cups Prepared pasta, small size, shell
  1. Pour water into mixing bowl. Pour Traditional Tomato Sauce Mix (16oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved. Set aside.

  2. In a pot, sauté onions, celery and carrot until they become soft and translucent, about 4-6 minutes.

  3. Add prepared sauce, green beans, kidney beans, tomato and pasta.

  4. Stir and bring to serving temp (145F). Never boil.
