Pineapple Teriyaki Sauce

Sweet and smoky Hawaiian-inspired sauce great for chicken, meatballs, steak and in burgers.

Pineapple Teriyaki Sauce

1  #10 can Pineapple tidbits
  Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  bag Foothill Farms® BBQ Teriyaki Sauce Mix (#V429)
  1. Drain pineapples over 1/2 gal measuring container. Reserve pineapples.

  2. Add hot water to container to bring the liquid to the 1/2 gal line.

  3. Pour contents of sauce mix (24.8 oz) into juice/water mixture while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is dissolved and sauce is smooth.

  4. Option: Add pineapples to sauce. Serve with chicken nuggets or on Hawaiian burgers.
