Thick Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce

This creamy cheese sauce is the perfect topping for a steak sandwich.

Thick Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce

1/2  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  bag Foothill Farms® Monterey Jack Flavor Cheese Sauce Instant Mix (#106T)
1/2  cup Shredded white American cheese
  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour in hot water. Add contents of Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce Mix (15.5 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and cheese sauce is smooth.

  2. Add shredded cheese to cheese sauce. Stir to combine.

  3. Serve 1 oz of cheese sauce on a 6" steak sandwich with peppers, onions and mushrooms.
