A deliciously rich white wine cheese sauce served with scallops.
|1/2 gal||Hot water (180°-190°F)|
|1 bag||Foothill Farms® Monterey Jack Flavor Cheese Sauce Instant Mix|
|2 cups||White wine, dry|
|2/5 lbs||Wild sea scallop pieces|
In a large mixing bowl, pour in hot water. Add contents of Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce Mix (15.5 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and cheese sauce is smooth. Let stand for about 3-5 minutes then mix again.
Add wine to cheese sauce. Stir to combine.
Cook scallops in butter. Add to plate.
Top scallops with white wine cheese sauce.
Garnish with lemon slices and parsley.
