A unique, grown-up twist on a traditional favorite.
|1/2 gal||Hot water (180°-190°F)|
|1 bag||Foothill Farms® Pepper Jack Cheese Sauce Instant Mix (#322T)|
|8 oz||Cream cheese|
|3 lb||Cooked elbow macaroni|
|12 slices||Bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled|
|1 medium||White onion, diced & sautéed|
|2 ea||Jalapeño peppers, seeded, diced & sautéed|
In a large mixing bowl, pour in hot water. Add contents of Pepper Jack Cheese Sauce Mix (15.5 oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and cheese sauce is smooth. Let stand for about 3-5 minutes then mix again.
Add cream cheese to cheese sauce. Stir to combine.
Add pasta, bacon, onions and peppers. Stir to combine.
Place mixture into full sized pan. Cover and bake in 350ºF convection oven for 20-30 minutes, until heated through and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Note: For more heat, add red pepper flakes.
