Are your menus ready for the holidays? Traditional holiday ingredients provide extra inspiration to chef and foodservice professionals that want to stand out during the holidays and draw in patrons to celebrate the season with them. Though Mother’s Day is the single busiest holiday for restaurants, the Christmas season lasts the entire month of December providing additional days in which to be festive. “December is always one of the largest and most important months for restaurants,” says Hudson Riehle, senior vice president of the research and knowledge group for the National Restaurant Association. Seasonal menus offer an ideal opportunity to test new ingredients and recipes that will make your foodservice establishment a destination this season.
