(SC Times) Iowa Company Acquires Foley's PouchTec Industries

A Foley-based food and liquid packaging company has been purchased by an Iowa-based corporation in a deal finalized Wednesday.

PouchTec Industries, 347 Sheridan Road, will join Muscatine, Iowa-based Kent Corp. as part of its precision foods group division headquartered in St.

PouchTec had been operating for over 24 years as a manufacturer of specialized flexible stand-up pouches used in dry and liquid food manufacturing.
