General Description

A lighter blend of American and Cheddar cheeses that is smooth, creamy, simple and economical. Can be used on nachos or blended into soups and sauces. Simply mix with hot water. No boiling required. Perfect in speed-scratch cooking or for cook chill operations.


Corn Syrup Solids, Modified Food Starch, Cheese Blend [Whey, Cheddar Cheese (Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Reduced Lactose Whey, Maltodextrin, Canola Oil, Blue Cheese (Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Nonfat Dry Milk, Lactic Acid, Colors (Yellow 5 & 6, Annatto Extract)], Whey, Coconut Oil, Salt, Contains Less Than 2% of: Phosphate (Calcium, Potassium, Sodium), Sodium Caseinate and/or Nonfat Dry Milk, Citric Acid, Yeast Extract, Sugar, Mono & Diglycerides, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Soy Lecithin, Artificial Flavor, Colored With Annatto, Disodium Inosinate, Xanthan Gum, Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking).

Directions For Use

Pour one gallon of hot water (180-190º F) into mixing bowl or container. Pour contents of one bag of TUF® Instant Special Blend Cheese Sauce Mix into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whip or with mixer on low speed. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved and cheese sauce is smooth. Cover and let stand 3-5 minutes. Remove cover and re-stir prior to serving.

To make approximately one quart of cheese sauce, mix one loosely packed cup of cheese sauce mix with 3 cups of hot water.

In a full size pan, mix 1 gallon of cheese sauce with 6 lb cooked elbow macaroni (approx 3 lb dry pasta) or for creamier mac & cheese use 5 lb cooked (approx 2 ½ lb dry). Keep warm (160°F).
½ cup cooked macaroni provides 1 serving grains/breads
