General Description
Make one gallon of either fresh buttermilk based “garlicky” Creamy Italian Dressing or a “peppery” Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing using recipes on the package. Regular, low fat or fat free dressings can be easily prepared by changing the type of mayonnaise used (regular, low fat or fat free) and following the appropriate directions on the package.
Ingredients
Salt, Monosodium Glutamate, Dehydrated Garlic, Sugar, Modified Food Starch, Onion Powder, Dehydrated Red Bell Pepper, Spice, Soybean Oil, Spice Extractive (Includes Celery Extract), Contains 2% Or Less Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking).
Directions For Use
Creamy Italian: Add contents of packet to ½ gallon of buttermilk and mix well with wire whip or electric mixer at low speed. Add ½ gallon of mayonnaise. Mix at low speed for about 2 minutes until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours to allow dressing to thicken. Stir before using. Cover and store in refrigerator when not using.
Parmesan Peppercorn: Add contents of packet to ½ gallon of buttermilk and mix well with wire whip or electric mixer at low speed. Add ½ gallon of mayonnaise. Mix at low speed for about 2 minutes until smooth. Fold in ½ cup of coarse ground black pepper and one cup of grated parmesan cheese. Cover and store in refrigerator when not using.
Buttermilk Free Alternative: Add contents of pouch to 1 quart of sour cream and 1 quart of water. Mix well with wire whip or electric mixer at low speed. Add ½ gallon of mayonnaise. Mix at low speed for about 2 minutes, or until smooth. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours so dressing will thicken. Stir before using. Cover and store in refrigerator.
