Recipe Yield:

1  gal Hot water (180-190°F)
3  Tbsp Ham base
1  bag Foothill Farms® Cream Soup Base Mix (either #067T or #096T)
2  cups yellow onions, finely diced
1  #10 can Navy or Great Northern beans
2  lbs cooked diced ham
  salt & pepper to taste
  1. In a large stock pot, add hot water and whisk in ham base until well combined.

  2. Gradually pour in Cream Soup Base Mix (28 oz) into hot water while stirring with a wire whip. Continue to stir until mix is completely dissolved and soup base is smooth.

  3. Add onions, beans and ham to soup base. Stir gently to combine. Heat to 165°F. Never boil.
