Foothill Farms® Mexican Rice Seasoning Mix
Maltodextrin, Dehydrated Vegetables (Onion, Red & Green Bell Pepper, Garlic), Salt (includes Sea Salt), Paprika, Yeast Extract, Spice (includes Chile Pepper, Cumin), Sugar, Red Beet Powder, Citric Acid, Paprika Extract, Soybean Oil, Contains 2% or Less Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking).
Directions For Use
Convection Oven Method: In a 4" full-size steam table pan, combine 1 1/3 gal hot water
(180°-190°F), contents of Rice Seasoning packet (11 oz) and 4 oz butter (optional). Stir in
2.5 qts (3.75 lbs) rice. Stir well. Cook according to rice package instructions. Keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
Top of Stove Method: Combine 1 1/3 gal water, contents of Rice Seasoning packet (11 oz) and 4 oz butter (optional) in a stock pot. Stir in 2.5 qts (3.75 lbs) rice. Stir well. Cook according to rice package instructions. Transfer to serving pan and keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
Optional: Substitute the rice with your desired grain and cook according to grain package instructions.

Alternate convection oven directions using whole grain regular brown rice:
Convection Oven Method: Preheat convection oven to 350°F. In a 4" full-size steam table pan, combine 1 1/3 gal hot water (180°-190°F), 2.5 qts (3.75 lbs) brown rice, contents of Rice Seasoning packet (11 oz) and 4 oz butter (optional). Stir well. Cover with foil or pan lid and bake in a 350°F convection oven for 60-70 minutes or until water is absorbed. Keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
