Whole Grain Asian Noodles

1/2 c provides 1 oz eq whole grain

Whole Grain Asian Noodles
Ingredients

2  lb Spaghetti, whole grain (or chow mein, soba or udon noodles)
1  qt Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  packet Foothill Farms® Asian Noodle Seasoning (#S141)
Instructions
  1. Cook noodles according to al dente package directions. Drain and rinse in cool water to stop cooking.

  2. 2. While noodles are cooking, in a small mixing bowl pour in hot water and add noodle seasoning packet (4.66 oz). Mix well and let sauce sit at least 5 minutes to allow the vegetables to rehydrate.

  3. Transfer noodles to a half pan. Pour sauce over noodles and toss to coat. Sauce will absorb into noodles. (Tip: To extend hold time and prevent noodles from sticking, lightly spray noodles with olive oil before pouring seasoning mixture over noodles.)

  4. Option: can be served hot or cold.
