|4 c||Rolled oats, whole grain, extra thick|
|6 c||Cold milk, divided|
|2 tsp||Ground cinnamon|
|2 tsp||Pure vanilla extract|
|1/2 c||Golden raisins|
|1 bag||Foothill Farms® Crème Anglaise Custard Sauce Mix (#S907)|
|1/2 c||Sliced almonds|
|8 tsp||granulated sugar|
|24||Fresh berries (or frozen, IQF)|
In a container, combine oats, 4 cups of milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract and raisins. Cover and refrigerate overnight to create overnight oatmeal. Reserve cold.
Pour 2 cups of cold milk into mixing container. Pour Custard Sauce Mix (7.05 oz) into milk while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is dissolved and sauce is thick. Reserve cold.
For one order: Heat 1/2 cup prepared oatmeal in microwave.
Layer ingredients as follows in a stemmed glass: 1/4 c hot oatmeal, 1/2 Tbsp almonds, 1 oz cold Crème Anglaise Custard Sauce, 1/4 cup hot oatmeal, 1/2 Tbsp almonds, 1 oz cold Crème Anglaise Custard Sauce.
Sprinkle 1 tsp sugar over top layer of Crème Anglaise Custard Sauce and immediately brulee with a blow torch until crunchy sugary caramel looking crust. Top each parfait with 3 berries.
