Old-Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup

What's better on a chilly day than a homemade bowl of feel-good chicken soup. Perfect for a light meal, a soup and salad entrée, or as a starter dish.

Recipe Yield: 20 1-cup servings
Amount Item
1  gal Hot water (180°-190°F)
1  bag Foothill Farms® Chicken Soup Mix (#060)
2  lbs Noodles, cooked (optional whole grain)
1  lb Cooked shredded or diced chicken
2  lbs Mixed vegetables, cooked
  1. In a large stock pot, add hot water. Add contents Chicken Soup Mix (9.4 oz) to water while stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved.

  2. Add cooked chicken, vegetables and noodles.

  3. Option: Use rice, sausage or turkey.
